Preface

This resource book has been constructed from the emotional intelligence (EI) literature and experiential reports (stories) of participants engaged in the Competencies-Based Coaching (C-BC) System, as part of an Advanced Leadership course. The EI literature has been developed from the works of Daniel Goleman, Richard Boyatzis, Annie McKee and others. The participants are senior level students (BCOM degree) and employed (part-time or full-time) in positions of either front-line workers, management or entrepreneurs (consultants).
